This trick is convenient, especially for those who don’t know how to sew or have sewing supplies. What also makes this hack so much better is that you can fix your waistband in as fast as 5 minutes, perfect if you’re in a hurry or you don’t have other skirts or jeans that you can or want to wear for the day. Learn how now by watching the video tutorial below.
Step 1
In the front part of the waistband, there are two layers of fabric, separate them and cut a little slit on the inside making sure you’re only cutting the inner fabric of the waistband.
Step 2
Thread the shoelace through the inside, then when you reach the tag and it’s blocking you from going further, pinch the inside of the waistband, and cut a hole on either side of the tag.
Step 3
Thread the shoelace out and back in, then continue to thread it through until you reach the other end of the waistband, and then wear it. Tighten it to your waist, then tie it securely, and tuck it in.
