There’s nothing prettier than flowers in the springtime, unless you hand paint your flower pots and that’s just the icing on the cake! Different looking pots for shrubs and flowers are really eye catching.

Having a beautiful garden not only adds to the beauty of your house but also helps in keeping the people healthy who live in such house. This DIY project is just one of many ways which will not only help you to improve the look of your garden but also force the viewers to compliment your garden.

Every spring when Mother’s Day or my Mom’s birthday rolls around I’m always in a quandary as to what give to her. She has everything she needs and can never give me any ideas for what to give her. This is when I have to get really creative and come up with things you don’t necessarily go out and buy.

I’ve painted her bird houses, paintings and several beautifully painted flower pots…if I don’t say so myself! She absolutely loves them and I don’t think I could have bought her anything that she would enjoy more. She spends a lot of time in her backyard gardening and messing with her plants.

Since painting flower pots for my Mom, I’ve painted several brightly colored flower pots for my home. They really DO make a difference in your outdoor decor!

Watch how this gal with Charmify paints these flower pots in her step by step tutorial so you can get busy making your flower pots pretty!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
