My daughter picked out some fun boho style accessories for her friend’s birthday gift, and I was immediately inspired to do a fun gift-wrapping project. “I’ll wrap the present,” my daughter said, “No! I have and IDEA!” I replied, and totally took over the task. I used mixed materials, a variety of textures, and soft, natural colors seemed perfect for this project. I used only items that I already had in my extensive selection of craft supplies, which included leather, lace, feathers, and flowers… All very Rock and Roll Boho chic. He friend went crazy and loved the gift.

My paper feathers are an oldie but a goodie and for the first time, our poster is sharing the SVG file for this design so that you can print and cut them at home on your cutting machine – hooray! It’s a simple design which is brought to life by scoring the center line and adding the gold leaf tips – aren’t they gorgeous? We discovered this gold leaf pen recently and have been adding a little glam to anything we can get our hands on ever since. I love simple gift wrap, and I love a simple craft paper gift wrap — but i wanted to give you four simple DIY ideas to spruce up your plain wrapping paper. these are all so incredibly easy and will make your presents so special, so i personally think it’s worth the extra 2 minutes during wrapping crunch time. (especially if you turn on scrooged or love actually or home alone or die hard while you do it) i did all of these on individually wrapped gifts, but you can save yourself time by doing the whole roll at once.

The kids needed something to do on their snow day and I noticed that the woven gift topper I saw last year was doing the rounds again on Pinterest so I thought I would make an updated pastel version (pastels seem to be the new neon at the moment. I bought some quilling strips (0.5cm) to use this time which reduces the labor by about half. This project looks amazing and will keep the kids busy for hours.

I had a lot of gifts to wrap over the holidays and I had some plain white paper, construction paper, scissors, and some bored kids. Saw this on Pinterest and, problem solved. To make the DIY garland presents start with a neutral base color and cut small triangles from colorful paper. String the triangles along a length of yarn with hot glue and wrap around the presents. I also had a cheap package of small pom poms that the younger ones could use with safe glue. Make a large version of the banner to hang on the wall, or the closest friend 😉 for an instant party look.

When I saw this amazing idea on Pinterest, it struck number one in my all time DIY gift wrap hall of fame. Old sweaters, yes old sweaters make the coolest gift bags. They look all warm and cozy, perfect for Christmas and so easy. To make these, start by cutting your sweater pieces. For each bag, cut two pieces (mine were 6×10 inches big each) and hem the top parts that will be the bag opening. Then, place the two sweater pieces together with the outside sides facing each other, and either sew the three sides that you didn’t hem together or glue them together using some hot glue. Then, turn the bags inside out, fill them with candy or whatever else you want to stuff them with, add some ribbon and whatever embellishments you are using (attach them to the ribbon using hot glue) and you are done!
