Taco Tuesday just got a whole lot more interesting when I found this fried stuffed tacos recipe tutorial by Kay Creates on Youtube. Kay has come up with such a winning idea, I can hardly believe my luck. When I first saw this recipe I thought it looked amazing and really delicious. It looked so perfect, I assumed that the taco envelopes were hand made from scratch dough that you would have to roll out and cut. The best part of this recipe that really blows my mind was the fact that you use a package of store-bought flour tortillas to make these delicious morsels. You just use a magical mixture of cornstarch and water to seal you delicious stuffed tacos up before you deep-fry them. Believe it or not, that cornstarch paste makes the most wonderful edible glue you will ever find!

  • 1 Package of store-bought flour tortillas (you want to get the large burrito size if you can find them. You can use smaller, but your stuffed fried tacos will be smaller)
  • 1.25 pounds of ground beef
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 4 Ounces of cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice, any cheese will work)
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • A small bowl of cornstarch mixed with water (for your taco sealing glue)

The directions for the recipe by Kay Creates are really easy to follow in this tutorial. First, you will learn how to make your taco stuffing.
