This is such a popular item right now and it can be worn layered and with leggings or alone, but one thing’s for sure, you’ll be comfortable however you were it!

I’ve made a few of these and have really enjoyed the flexibility of having these in solid colors because I can wear all kinds of accessories with them…and my scarves! I am a huge accessory person that believes accessories make an outfit, therefore I own a lot of them…some is good but more is better!

You can make this with short sleeves, long sleeves or no sleeves at all. Also, make these long or short…your choice when making this great looking dress!

I made one of these with long sleeves, and in red for Christmas. Then I transferred a cool vintage image of Santa on the front of it so I can wear it during the Christmas holidays. It’s so cute!

Materials Needed:

  • About 1 and 1/2 yard of a light weight knit fabric. You will need more or less depending on your size.
  • Matching thread Sewing machine
  • Basic sewing notions
  • Paper to draw your pattern on. (I  just use leftover wrapping paper!)
  • About 2-2 and 1/2 hours of time

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
