Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of strawberries, divided
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tub of whipped cream
  • 12 pcs. ladyfinger cookies

Directions:

Step 1

Chop 2 cups of fresh strawberries and add them to a large mixing bowl. To that, add 1/4 cup sugar and stir until combined. Set aside. Next, lay six pieces of ladyfingers on the bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole dish, then spread out 1/3 of the tub of the whipped cream. After this, add half of the strawberries to the whipped cream and spread them evenly. Once done, add the remaining six pcs of ladyfingers over the strawberries, another 1/3 cup of whipped cream, and finally, the remaining strawberries. Cover the top with the last of the whipped cream.

Step 2

Place the dessert in the fridge for about three to four hours. Slice another cup of fresh strawberries, then add it to the top of the chilled icebox cake. Cut into slices and serve. Enjoy!
