Ingredients:

Dough (can make 2 pizzas)

  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 200ml or about ¾ cup of lukewarm water
  • ½ tbsp of instant yeast
  • 2 cups of bread flour
  • 1 tsp of salt

Topping

  • 2 tbsp of tomato sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Pepperoni, optional

*you can add more toppings that you want

Directions:

Step 1

In a bowl or measuring cup, add the water, sugar, and instant yeast, then mix them together until well combined and dissolved. In a separate large mixing bowl, add the flour and salt, then give them a good whisk until uniform, and gradually add the water mixture while mixing well in between each addition until a dough starts to form.

Step 2

Knead the dough into a ball, then cover it, and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Knead the dough again until smooth and round, then let it rise in a warm place while covered for about 1 hour. Deflate the dough and transfer it to a silicone mat, then divide the dough into 2 equal parts, and let them rest while covered for about 15 more minutes.

Step 3

Sprinkle them with some flour and flatten them, then press them into a large round shape with thick edges (if you want, you can thin them out by throwing them from left to right as shown in the video). Place a pan on a stove over medium-low heat, then add some cooking oil, and spread it out all over the bottom and sides with a paper towel. Place the pizza dough, then poke holes all over the dough using a fork, and turn it over if you want.

Step 4

Cover the pan, then let the dough cook for about 6 minutes or until golden brown, flip it over, and turn off the heat. Spread some tomato sauce all over the top, then sprinkle the cheese, and some pepperoni along with other toppings that you want to use. Cover the pan again, then heat the pizza on low for about 8 minutes, and serve. Enjoy!
