Easy DIY Pet Bed
What You Need:
- 2 cozy fabric (80cm long x 68cm wide)
- Scissors
- Pins
- Cotton stuffing
- Sewing needle
- Sewing machine
Here’s how:
Step 1
Fold up 2 times like a blanket into quarters.
Step 2
Using a scissor cut and round the open corners.
Step 3
Place both fabrics with the fluffy side out on top of each other and secure with pins.
Step 4
Get the cotton stuffing and have it marked by your pet (i.e. cats can knead on them so they can leave their scent). This step is optional.
Step 5
Cut open the middle part to insert the cotton stuffing and sew around it to close completely.
Step 6
And now we are ready to fill the sides with cotton stuffing. From the edge of the cotton stuffing in the center, sew a pattern traversing the side to leave enough room for the cotton stuffing.
Step 7
Fill the chamber with cotton and after each filling, close the opening with quilt seam. Do the quilt seam 10 times to give your pet bed extra durability.
