Recently, I’ve been so obsessed with making quilted table runners and table toppers with themes and designs that would fit every occasion. For this month, this one by Shabby Fabrics on YouTube is what has caught my eye.
RELATED: How To Sew A Sunflower Table Topper
This sewing project is very simple and beautiful and is the perfect quilt for beginners to try. It uses an applique technique which makes it even easier and the template makes it impossible for you to mess up. So if you want to learn how now, then proceed to read the instructions down below and watch the video tutorial for more details.
Step 1
Download and print the pattern, then cut the blue fabric and fusible fleece to size, and stitch them together before setting them aside. Next, lay the template on top of the white fabric, then trace the shape and the lines nicely, and set it aside.

Step 2
Prepare and cut the assorted fabric pieces for the mittens, then attach them to the fusible webbing, and press them to the main fabric using an iron. Once fused, topstitch around the edges of the appliqued pieces, lines, and the white fabric, and sew the beads as well as demonstrated in the video.
