This sewing project by Shveyniy ugolok s Ludmiloy Zardinovoy on YouTube is so pretty and fun to make, this is also the best project to use your fabric scraps or trimmings with. You can make a couple of these pillowcases for your living room or if you want you can also give them as a gift to your loved ones.
Step 1
Lay the square fabric on a flat surface, then place a non-woven piece of fabric on top, and start filling the top with fabric scraps making they’re evenly distributed. Place a thin piece of net fabric over the fabric scraps, then press them down with an iron, lay a tulle fabric over them, and trim off the excess around the edges.
Step 2
Secure them in place with fabric pins, then sew them through the center diagonally from corner to corner, and keep sewing over it diagonally about 1cm or 0.4 inches apart from each other. Rotate the patchwork and sew diagonally on the opposite side with 1cm or 04. inches space in between each seam, then cut and straighten the edges, and then cut the patchwork into 9.5cm or 3.7 inches squares.

Step 3
Cut the accent and background fabric into strips as shown in the video, then stitch them together, and press them open. Subcut the strips into 3.5cm or 1.4 inches strips, then stitch the shorter ones on one side of the square, and stitch the longer one on the other side making sure that the background corner is on opposite sides.
Step 4
Press them open, then lay the block units into rows and place an 11.5x5cm or 4.5×2 inches background piece in between each block. Stitch them per row and press the seams nicely, then place a 46x5cm or 18×2 inches sashing in between each row, and start stitching them together making sure to press the seams as you go.
Step 5
Flip the patchwork over, then place the batting and backing on top of the wrong side, and stitch them all around the edges. Make the back piece of the pillowcase with a zipper in it, then lay it on top of the front piece with their right sides facing, and stitch them together on the edges. Turn the pillowcase right side out, then insert the pillow, and close the zipper.
