Cut the print fabrics into 2.5 inches-wide strips or use jelly roll strips instead, then remove the selvage, and sub-cut them into 2.5×4.4-inches segments. Lay 2 strips at the center placing them right beside each other vertically, then place one strip at the top and bottom horizontally, and continue to lay the rest of the pieces around. Refer to the diagram and video tutorial to make sure that they are laid properly, then start stitching them together one at a time, and press the seams open as you go.
