Every summertime, I would always plan fun activities that I could do in the yard with the kids, and you can say that this is one of my favorite times of the year. It is also the perfect time to build or set up your pools for a swim with the family or with your friends.

If you’re not into that, you can just simply enjoy relaxing outdoors while reading a book and with your favorite drink in hand. If that sounds good to you then you might also want to consider setting up a swing that you can hang anywhere you like. Just like this DIY project by Hallmark Channel on YouTube, this swing is made out of a rubber tire, is very sturdy, and looks so adorable!
Step 1
First, wash the tire, paint it, and let it dry completely. Make 3 markings spaced equally apart on the tire for the holes later, once done marking, drill about ⅜ inch holes on those markings, and attach the U-bolt or rope clamp to the end of each rope.
Step 2
Insert the other end of the ropes through each hole and pull them, then secure the three ropes on top with the clamp, and set it aside. Now, take the precut plywood round, then trim the edges of the precut upholstery foam, and place it on top.
Step 3
Wrap it with the fabric, then secure the edges underneath with a staple gun, and place the cushion inside the tire. Hang and install your swing securely!
