Step 1
Cut two 4-inch squares in one color of fabric, then two 4-inch squares of the other color, and cut one 2½-inch squares of each color. Take the larger squares, then stack the opposite colors together with their right sides facing, and stitch them all around. Cut them in half diagonally and press them open, then trim them to the right size, and remove one half-square triangle because you will only need 7.
Step 2
Arrange them together until they form the puppy’s shape as shown in the video, then stitch them, press the seams as you go, and square the block.
