Ingredients for Pumpkin Delight Dessert:

Layer 1

  • ½ cup of butter, softened
  • ½ cup of walnuts or pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup of flour

Layer 2

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • (8 ounces) block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of whipped topping

Layer 3

  • 2½ cups of milk
  • 3 small packs of vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 (15 ounces) can of pumpkin puree
  • 2 tsp of pumpkin spice
  • 1 cup of whipped topping

Layer 4

  • 1 cup of whipped topping
  • ¼ cup of walnuts or pecans, chopped

How to Make Pumpkin Delight Dessert:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then in a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour, butter, and walnuts or pecans until combined. Transfer the mixture to a 9×9-inch baking dish, then spread it evenly, and press it to the bottom firmly. Put it in the preheated oven, then allow the crust to bake for about 15 minutes, and allow it to cool completely. In another bowl, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of the whipped topping until smooth and combined.

Step 2

Next, pour it over the cooled crust, and spread evenly. In a separate bowl, add the milk, pudding mix, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and 1 cup whipped topping until smooth, then put it over the cream cheese layer, and smooth the surface. Spread 1 cup of whipped topping on top, then sprinkle the walnuts or pecans, and put it in the fridge to cool for at least 3 hours or until ready to serve. Enjoy!
