This super quick and easy quilt block from Alanda Craft on Youtube is the perfect quilt project for beginners. You will only need fabric strips or jelly rolls for this project; you can even re-assemble the quilt block however you like! I’m sure seasoned quilters will also enjoy doing this project. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step-by-step instructions.

Materials:

  • 2 & 1/2″ wide printed strips or jelly roll strips
  • ruler with 60 degree
  • rotary cutter

Directions:

Step 1

Put two strips, right sides together, and stitch with a 1/4″ seam allowance. Using a 60-degree ruler, line it diagonally with the corner on top of the strip unit, then cut. Continue cutting the length of the strip until you finish it.

Step 2

Now, assemble the triangles into a hexagon shape (see the image below). Stitch the pieces together and press.
