This quilt is so fun to make and this is one of my most recent favorites, I’m sure that you will also enjoy making this quilt block. If you want to learn how now then proceed to read the instructions down below and watch the video tutorial as well.
Step 1
Download the template and cut it out, then use a tracing wheel, ruler, or a piece of cardboard, to fold the paper along the lines, using a tracing wheel makes it easier to tear the paper off at the end. Plan your fabric placement, then cut the assorted fabric pieces, and make sure that they are big enough to cover the required piece, including the seam, plus ½” extra.
Step 2
Identify the color/print for each piece and label them, for example, P for pink, G for green, and W for white, then start with A1 and A2, and make sure to place the pieces on the back so you can stitch them from the front. Pin A2 to the paper and sew the piece A1 to A2, then fold the paper back along the line between A1 and A2 and trim off the excess at ¼” from the fold.
Step 3
Stitch the A1 and A2 together making sure their right sides are facing, then make sure to stitch along the line between A1 and A2, and press them open. Add the piece A3 like before, then tear the paper off as needed, and keep adding the pieces until you’ve completed the block.
