Dinner rolls are a staple in our household, we have them prepared almost every week if not every day! They just go well with any meal and there are endless ways to prepare them and recipes to try them with. Our family’s favorite version of dinner rolls is this one by Savor Easy on YouTube, the buns are super soft and the maple glaze makes them so much better than they already are! You should give this a try and you’ll love it for sure.
Dough
Eggwash
Maple Glaze
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add the milk, maple syrup, egg, and instant yeast, then whisk them together until well combined, add all-purpose flour and salt, and fold them together until it forms into a dough. Add the melted butter, then continue to knead until absorbed, transfer to a lightly floured counter, and continue to knead until smooth and elastic. Form it into a smooth dough ball, then coat it with oil, then place it in a large bowl, and cover for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.

Step 2
After an hour, sprinkle some flour at the top of the dough, then punch to degas, and transfer to a lightly floured counter. Shape the dough and lightly flatten it, then divide it into 12 even pieces, and form each piece into a ball. Transfer them to a baking dish, then cover them for about 30 minutes until doubled in size, and brush the top with eggwash or a mixture of egg and milk. Place it inside the preheated oven to bake at 180°C or 350°F for about 22 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, then in a mixing bowl, whisk together the softened butter and maple syrup until uniform, and brush it all over the freshly baked bread.
