Ingredients:

  • 8 cups of fresh cold water, divided
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of fine Himalayan pink salt
  • ¾ teaspoon of calcium magnesium powder, optional
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • ¾ cup of freshly squeezed orange juice, strained
  • 2 medium lemons, juiced
  • 2 medium limes, juiced

Directions:

Step 1

Pour about one cup of water into a large pot or kettle, then add the sweetener or honey, salt, calcium magnesium powder, and cayenne. Place the pot on a stove over low heat, then give them a good whisk until all of the ingredients have dissolved into the water. Remove the pot from the heat and allow the mixture to return to room temperature.

Now prepare the juice of your choice, if you’re using one with pulps, then you should strain it well making sure to press and squeeze out as much juice as possible, and your juice must be a cup or a little bit over. Add the juices to the room temperature mixture in the pot, then pour the remaining 7 cups of water, and whisk them all together until well blended.
