Fill a mason jar or container with 1 quart of water and 4 teaspoons of bleach, then stir or lightly shake them to combine. To make a 1 gallon of disinfectant, use 1/3 cup or 4 tablespoons of bleach and 1 gallon of water. You can transfer the disinfectant to a spray bottle for easier use, then make sure to label the container and store it in hard-to-reach places so kids don’t easily get it. Remember to work in a well-ventilated area and wear some cleaning gloves for protection if preferred. For hard surfaces, clean the area well with soap and water first, then spray it with disinfectant, and leave it for at least 10 minutes letting it air-dry.
