You can personalize this quilt by using a fabric print or color of your choice and embroidering the name of the baby. This is a very simple and quick quilt to make, and I’m sure that even beginners will love this.
Step 1
Download the pattern and cut the fabrics according to the instructions, then line the back of each square diagonally from corner to corner, and lay the 2 rectangles on a flat surface with their right sides facing up.
Step 2
Place a large square at the bottom with their right sides facing down, then make sure that the lines are meeting at the center downward, and pin them securely in place. Put a square on top of each upper corner with their right sides facing down.
Step 3
Make sure that the lines meet at the center upward as shown in the video, then pin them in place securely, stitch them along the drawn lines, and trim off the excess fabric with ¼ inch seam allowance.
Step 4
Press them open, then stack the 2 patchwork together with their right sides facing and seams lined up, and stitch them together. Press the seams open, then add the borders to the sides, add the backing, and finish your quilt however you want.
