Ingredients for Garlic Parmesan Pretzels:

  • 1 tube of refrigerated French bread dough
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup of freshly grated parmesan, plus more for topping
  • ¼ cup of baking soda
  • 3 cups of warm water
  • 4 tbsp of melted butter
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp of freshly chopped parsley

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F, then line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, and set it aside. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces, then stretch and roll each piece into a long rectangle, and sprinkle some mozzarella and parmesan along the center.

Step 2

Roll the dough tightly into a tight rope as shown in the video, then twist and shape it into a pretzel, and place it in the prepared pan. In a bowl, mix the water and baking soda until dissolved, then brush it over each pretzel, and let them set for about 10 minutes until dried.

Step 3

Brush the pretzels with melted butter, then sprinkle some garlic powder followed by Parmesan and parsley, and place them in the preheated oven. Allow them to bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden, then serve, and enjoy!
