Step 1

Fold the towel in half lengthwise, then mark a curved line on either end as shown in the video, and cut along those marked lines. Unfold the towel, then prepare the cement mix according to the package instructions, and soak the towel in the cement mixture. Inflate the balloon to the right size, then place it on top of a can or any tall container, and place the soaked towel over it.

Step 2

Pinch the center and shape it into a clam or seashell, then cut out the excess towel at the edges, and leave it to dry until completely hardened. Add more cement to the mixture, then brush and apply a generous amount to the shell, and let it dry completely. Remove it from the balloon, then brush more cement mixture on the inside of the shell, and transfer the remaining cement mix to a plastic bag before sealing it securely.

Step 3

Flatten the bag, then position the shell at the center, and fill the inside with weights. Leave it to dry completely, then remove the plastic, and spray paint both pieces white. Once the paint has dried, coat it with any color of paint that you want and design it however you like, then fill the inside with dirt, and transfer your plant or succulent to it, you can also put some decorative rocks around it.
