I have made a couple of makeshift tablet stands before and none of them was very helpful for me. So, I decided to purchase one instead until I found this video tutorial by Teresa DownUnder on YouTube, and that’s when I thought, I’d just make one instead!

Making this DIY tablet stand is super easy and very inexpensive than store-bought, plus, it’s so fun to make, too! Proceed to read the written steps down below and while you’re at it watch the video tutorial as well.
Step 1
Fold the fabric in two at the 9-inch mark, then pin them in place, and stitch along the 2 sides of the rectangle. Notch the corners, then turn the tube inside out, and lay the tube out nice and flat on your work surface with the seams centered underneath.
Step 2
Fold the bottom over so that it looks like a diamond, then fold the bottom corner toward the center of the diamond, and stitch a button on top. Cut the base template into a piece of cardboard, then fill the tube with poly-fil fiberfill along with rice or beans, and add the cardboard inside once you’ve finished filling the tube.
Step 3
Pin and sew along the base, then trim off the excess fabric by about 2 inches, and make a wedge for the tablet to stand in. Tuck the edges in half, then stitch the opening close to the edge, and leave a 2″ opening. Fill the roll through the gap, then stitch the opening closed completely, and you’re done!
