Materials for Dollar Tree Rope Heart Basket:

• Dollar Tree rope, any color that you want
• Needle and thread
• Scissors

How to Make a Rope Heart Basket:

Step 1

Fold the rope over about 5 inches, then sew the edge to lock it in place, and continue down with a zigzag stitch. Fold it over one more time, then continue to stitch, bend the piece in half, and stitch in place to hold the shape. Continue to fold the rope making sure to follow the bend/ shape, then stitch as you go, and keep building the base of the basket until the desired size.

Step 2

Now, tilt the base as you continue to sew and build the sides of the bowl, then keep doing this until you reach the desired height of the basket, and then trim off the excess rope. Make sure to push the end of the rope close to the edge to hide the unevenness, you can also add in some embellishments of your choice.
