I have tried a couple of upcycled mason jar projects before and among all of those that I did, this DIY pressed flower lantern is my favorite! It’s so beautiful and magical and is the perfect decor if you’re into fairy aesthetics. But, even if you’re not this would still add a whimsical and relaxing vibe to your home. Not only can you use this to decorate and light up your home but you can also give this as a personalized and handmade gift to a loved one.

It’s a very pretty and inexpensive project because most of the materials required may already be available in your home. This project is very simple and quick to make and you can finish it in just a few minutes, the only time-consuming part was waiting until the glue dries, but other than that, it’s a pretty easy handmade craft. Learn how now by watching this video tutorial by ArtSkills on YouTube.
Step 1
Apply some Mod Podge on the small area of the jar about the same size as the flower you’re going to use, then place the flower on it, and press it down nicely.
Step 2
Apply more Mod Podge over it until covered, then continue to add more flowers beside it or on the empty surfaces, and let them dry completely.
Step 3
Tie a jute twine around the neck of the jar, then add more embellishments if desired, place the candle inside the jar, and light it up.
