This fun DIY pebble pot tutorial by The lockdown tinker on YouTube is a multipurpose craft that you can make easily with a few simple steps and materials. You can use this as a fruit bowl, or as a lovely pot. Make yourself a few or several of these by following the instructions down below.

Materials:

  • Pebbles
  • Superglue
  • Stone sealer
  • Bowl
  • Plastic bag
  • Chisel
  • Sanding paper

Directions:

Step 1

Collect and gather pebbles, then separate them according to sizes and colors. Make sure to wash them well, then place them on a paper towel or cloth, and pat them dry before beginning to build. Find a bowl to get the shape that you like them to be, then line the bowl with a plastic bag evenly, and then start filling the base with pebbles. Using strong super glue, dab some glue on all joining sides of the pebbles. Keep building upward and around the bowl while making sure to dab glue as you go on adding pebbles.

Step 2

Wait for the glue to dry before adding and building it too high, then once it reaches your desired height, leave it to dry completely. Leaving it to dry longer will give the best results. Once dry, carefully take the bag out of the bowl, then using a chisel, gently scrape off the excess glue. Then, grab a sanding paper to give the pebbles a light scrub. Wipe a stone sealer around the pebbles both in the back and the front, then leave it to dry completely. Use the bowl for fruits or add some compost and use it as a pot.
