Materials for DIY Mini Greenhouse:

  • 8×10 picture frames
  • Glue
  • E6000 adhesive
  • Square wooden dowels
  • Black paint
  • Foam paint applicator
  • Saw
  • Ruler
  • Marking pen or pencil
  • Painter’s tape
  • Hinges
  • Screws and screwdriver

How to Make a Mini Greenhouse Using Picture Frames:

Step 1

Remove the backing of the two frames, then pull off the metal supports, and glue the glass piece in place. Allow them to dry completely, then for 1 frame, remove both the glass and backing, this will be the center support. Use the square dowels to make the panes of the glass, then use the backing to measure accurately, and cut the pieces as shown in the video.

Step 2

Paint them black and let dry completely, then add the support to the frames, and hot glue them in place. Assemble everything together as demonstrated in the video attaching the roofs as well, then add hinges to the front of the greenhouse if you want, and you’re done!
