This DIY garland looks like they’re real pies hung in jute twine for decor, and they are just so realistic that you’d want to take a bite! I’m sure everyone will find this just as adorable and you might receive a few compliments here and there. Learn how to make this easy project now.
Step 1: Preparation
Create a paper template for the pie shape, then use it to cut the felt triangles in different colors, and cut the lace ribbon the same length as the bottom edge for the top crust.
Step 2: Pumpkin Pie
Hot glue the crust layer and pumpkin layer, then add the top crust and attach a pompom at the center of the whipped cream. Set it aside to let the glue dry and set it completely.
Step 3: Cherry Lattice Pie
Layer the crust and cherry felt together, then cut felt strips, and arrange them on top of the pie in a lattice pattern. Cut the excess edges and set the pie aside.
Step 4: Pecan Pie
Hot glue the center of a felt strip, then fold it in half lengthwise and roll in into a pecan. Make more felt pecans, then hot glue them to the top of the pie layer.
Step 5: Assembly
Add the pie pieces to the twine and secure them with hot glue, then add some ribbon bow in between each pie or any embellishment that you want, and hand them wherever you want.
