Inexpensive DIY Christmas Wooden Gift Idea

This easy project is inexpensive because you can easily find this in the nearest Dollar store, then design it however you want with whatever materials you have. Materials:
- Wooden tag
- Chalk paint
- Printed paper
- Mod podge
- Paintbrush
- Sharpie
- Scissors
- Jute twine
- Embellishments
Directions:
Step 1
Grab the wooden tags and decide which designs you want to put on them, you can paint, adhere a printed paper, or leave it as is. If you want to paint it, then coat the front with chalk paint or any color you want in a single coat evenly without painting the sides and the back, and then let it dry completely.

Step 2
Using a sharpie, write a “to” and “from” dedication at the back so you can write the name of the person you’re going to give it to, and then add any embellishments that you want. Trace the shape of a wooden tag on printed paper, then cut it out, and adhere it to the front using mod podge. Press it smoothly onto the tag using your fingers to remove any air bubbles, then add embellishments, and hot glue them into place.
