I love making crafts for the holidays, especially Christmas, and one of my recent favorites is this project by sophie.diyguru on Tiktok. The moment I saw this DIY idea, I just knew that I had to give it a try, and now I have a few sets of this Christmas tree garland to cover the entire house.

My friends saw how the Christmas tree garland looked like in my house and they also find it so adorable that they even asked me to make them a set for their home, too, or at least teach them how to make one! Watch the video tutorial below and see for yourself.

Step 1

Cut a small piece of cardboard about 2 inches, then wrap your yarn around it about 9 times, and insert a piece of thread through one side of the loop tying it tightly in a knot.

Step 2

Cut through the other side of the loop, then tie another piece of thread around it about ¾ inch from the top, and make 2 more sets of this.

Step 3

Get one of the yarn pieces, then open the center, dab some hot glue, and push the other yarn piece inside, repeat the step one more time to make a 3-layered tree.

Step 4

Hot glue small pom poms on the tree for the ornaments, then adhere a small star at the top, and start threading the trees together with a long piece of yarn, make sure to space them evenly and add a bead in the middle.
