This a great quilt pattern to use for sewing a table runner, coaster, blanket, or just about any sewing project that you want. You can finish this block in just a few minutes and in one sitting, trust me, you won’t fail this one. Learn how now in this video tutorial!
Step 1
Download and print the pattern, then cut the fabrics as instructed, and assemble them in a block referring to the pattern guide for the proper layout. First, stitch together the green strips or cactus fabrics one at a time, then press the seams nicely in one direction, and trim it to size.
Step 2
Next, join the brown and pink strips or the pot unit together, give them a good press, then put the small background squares on the corners, and stitch them diagonally before trimming off the excess layers.
Step 3
Stitch the small background squares on the corners of the cactus block unit and do the same for the flower of the cactus to give it a diamond shape. Now, stitch everything together as well as the background strips around the sides to complete the block, then press them nicely, and you’re done!
