This fun quilt project by Jordan Fabrics on YouTube will be your new favorite way to quilt! You can play with lots of patterns and colors to make your own version and you can hang it on your wall to show off your quilting skills. If you want to learn how, then watch the video tutorial on YouTube, and read the written instructions down below. I hope you enjoy this quilt as much as I did.
Step 1
Grab the widest background fabric along with 2 colorful strips, then lay it on top of each side with their right sides together and edges matching, and sew them together along the long side. Press open the fabric with your fingers with the seam going toward the darker side, then lay together another print strip and background strip of the same size with their right sides together, and sew them together on one long side. Open the fabric, then lay another print strip on top with their right sides facing, and sew them together along one side. Add another background strip followed by another print strip, then iron them nicely, and set the piece aside.

Step 2
Grab 2 medium-sized background pieces, then sew 1 print strip in the middle, and iron them flatly. Sew the rest of the pieces, then cut them into smaller strip pieces as required in the pattern, and put them together into a single block before ironing them flatly. Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of a background square, then lay them on top of the print rectangle fabrics, and sew along the line. Open the fabric and press flatly, then trim off the excess fabric, and set them aside. Grab the rest of the print strips and background strips, then sew 2 print strips together, and open the fabric.
Step 3
Lay the background piece on top with their right sides facing, then sew them on both long sides, and cut them into 4½-inch triangle pieces. Press each piece open with the seams going toward the lighter side of the fabric, then assemble the pieces to form a heart, and sew them together before ironing flatly. Lay small background strips on all 4 sides, then sew them in place and start piecing the rest of the blocks. Lay the blocks together, then starts sewing them into rows, and once done, sew the rows together. Add the border, backing, and binding, then quilt as you want, and you’re done!
