Check out this video tutorial by SouthernSimply on YouTube where you’ll learn how to simply and easily make boiled peanuts in your crockpot. Just dump everything, set it, and let the crockpot do the work. You can also make this in larger batches if you want to share it with a crowd. I hope you enjoy this simple recipe as much as I did.
Step 1
Add the raw peanuts to the crockpot, then spread them evenly, and sprinkle the salt all over the peanuts. Pour in all of the water, then cover it with the lid, and put a kitchen towel over the top to trap all of the steam that will escape back into the crockpot.

Step 2
Turn the crockpot on a high setting, then cook the peanuts for about 8 hours, and turn the setting to warm to keep the peanuts from cooling down or if you want them served warm. Scoop out the peanuts with a slotted spoon, then crack them open, and enjoy!
