Whenever I don’t feel like cooking or I don’t have much time to prepare food for lunch or dinner, I would always go and get my crockpot to let it do all the work! This is why I keep a lot of recipes that I can use whenever I need, and one of my all-time favorites is this one by Cooking With Claudia on YouTube. This delicious crockpot dish is so easy to prepare and it tastes so good that you just wouldn’t be able to stop eating it.

Ingredients for Garlic Butter Beef and Potatoes:
- 2 pounds of beef stew meat
- 1 pound of gold baby potatoes
- 1 large onion, minced
- 6 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of smoked paprika
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- ½ tsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of dried thyme
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- 1 tsp of dried parsley
- 1 tsp of dried rosemary
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup of red wine
- 5 tbsp of butter, sliced
How to Make Garlic Butter Beef and Potatoes:
Step 1
Place the meat in a slow cooker, then add the gold baby potatoes, minced onion, and minced garlic, and drizzle the olive oil over them. Season them with smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, dried parsley, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Step 2
Mix everything well, you can use your hands in this part, just keep mixing until all of the meat is evenly coated. Add the Worcestershire sauce, then pour in the wine or use broth instead, and place the slices of butter all over the top.
Step 3
Cover the crockpot with the lid, then set it on high, and allow the meat to cook for about 6 hours. Once done cooking, you can skim off the excess oil if desired, then turn off the heat, and serve. Enjoy!
