Decorating for Christmas is such a fun activity and is my favorite part of the year. Apart from putting up the tree, I also make decor that I can put on shelves, tables, etc. One of my most recent favorite projects is this one by Make It With Micah DIY Decor on YouTube, it’s super easy to make and looks so beautiful, plus, it’s inexpensive, too, because all of the materials you’ll need you can easily find from the nearest Dollar store.

You can make these DIY candles in different colors, designs, and sizes. I’m sure you’ll love these Christmas candles, and even more when you light them up! For now, proceed to read the written instructions down below and learn the steps to making this lovely decor, and while you’re at it, watch the video tutorial to see more details. Enjoy crafting!
Step 1
Cut a red piece of pool noodle at about 8 inches using an X-Acto knife, then place a tealight candle on one end, and measure its diameter. Cut it out so that the tealight can fit inside, then apply Mod Podge all over the exterior until coated, and sprinkle glitters until fully covered.

Step 2
Cut the end of a ribbon at an angle, then hot glue the end to the bottom edge, and start wrapping it diagonally up to the top edge securing it with hot glue as you go. Apply hot glue all over the upper part in the shape of a drip as shown in the video, then sprinkle white glitters all over the glue, and allow it to dry completely. You can do this in other colors, too!
