Fabric A (any color and print that you want)
Fabric B (any color and print that you want)
Background fabric
Other Supplies You’ll Need:
Step 1
Stack the fabric A and B squares together with their right sides facing, then stitch them with ¼ inch seam allowance, and press the seams toward the darker fabric. Make a total of 2 sets, then arrange them into a square with the colors opposite each other, and then stack them with their right sides facing. Pin them in place, then stitch them together, and press nicely. Place the fabric A rectangles on each side of the 4 patch block, then stitch them in place, and press as you go.
Step 2
Now, get the fabric C squares, then sew them on each end of the fabric B rectangles, press them nicely, and stitch each strip unit to the top and bottom of the 4-patch block. Cut the background squares in half diagonally, then stitch the triangles on each side of the block, and press the seams away from the center as you go. Trim the excess fabric and give it a final press.
