Materials for Cleaning Burnt Baking Sheets:

• Ammonia
• Brillo pads
• Cleaning gloves
• Large Plastic bag
• Drill with scrub attachment, optional

How to Clean Burnt Baking Sheets:

Step 1

Get all your supplies ready, then wear your cleaning gloves, and submerge the baking sheet in ammonia. Put the baking sheet in a large plastic bag, then make sure that it’s completely covered in ammonia, and allow it to soak overnight.

Step 2

The next morning, bring your soaked baking sheet to a well-ventilated area, then rinse the baking sheet until almost all of the product is gone, and then start scrubbing the burnt bits off.

Step 3

Keep scrubbing until the sheet is clean and make sure to rinse as you go, then get a knife or any pointed tool, wrap the scrub pad around it, and use it to clean the corners and sides.

Step 4

If you hate scrubbing manually, then you can use a drill with a scrub attachment, and let it do the hard work. Make sure to rinse the baking sheet a few times until there are no more traces of ammonia left.
