For some reason, there are only a few times that I’ve tried walking tacos, and recently, I’ve been planning to try making it at home. Like I always do when trying to learn a new recipe, I head to the internet to look for some video tutorials that are easy to follow, especially for beginners like me. That’s when I stumbled upon this recipe by TENNESSEE NIKKI on YouTube, and it has become one of my favorites immediately.

The recipe was very simple and straightforward which is perfect for me because it would be easy for me to look for the ingredients, plus, the result was so good that I cooked it a few more times that week. This is also a no-fail recipe so guaranteed that you won’t mess this up. It’s your turn to impress your family and friends now with your cooking, learn how to make this dish down below.
Step 1
Place a pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the ground beef, and break it apart. Cook the beef until nice and brown, then drain off the excess grease, and add in the chopped onion. Stir and saute them until softened, then add the taco seasoning, and mix well to combine. Add the salsa, then continue to mix, pour in the cheddar cheese dip, and mix them again. Turn off the heat, then grease the baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, and preheat your oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Spread a layer of Fritos on the bottom of the prepared baking dish, then spread half of the meat mixture on top evenly, and sprinkle the shredded cheese over it. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, then put it in the preheated oven, and let it bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until nice and bubbly. Serve with any topping that you want and enjoy!
