I’ve never been a big fan of asparagus but I do eat them in small portions if I have to, not until, I found out that there are a lot of recipes and ways that you can cook them and make them taste so good.   • Salt
  • 10 asparagus
  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • Beaten egg, for brushing

Step 1

Fill a pot with water and add some salt, then add the asparagus, and boil them for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, then remove the asparagus from the pot, and let it drain off all the excess water.

Step 2

Unroll the puff pastry, then cut it into strips, and then start assembling the pastry twist. Place the bacon on a cutting board, then place the asparagus, and roll it over until wrapped.

Step 3

Next, roll and wrap the bacon-covered asparagus in a strip of puff pastry, then transfer them to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and space them evenly.

Step 4

Brush them with beaten egg on top, then place them in an oven preheated at 190°C or 375°F, and allow them to bake for about 25 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
