Step 1
Give the asparagus a good rinse, then chop off the woody part at the tail or end of each piece after washing. Place them in the baking sheet, then drizzle some olive oil, and season with black pepper and garlic salt. Use your hands to toss the asparagus around until each piece are well seasoned and oiled. Grab the bacon strips and cut off one end so that they are the same length as the asparagus. Place a wire rack on top of a baking sheet, then set it aside.

Step 2
Grab one piece of asparagus and wrap a piece of bacon around it. Repeat the process until all asparagus are wrapped, then place all of them in the prepared rack, make sure to give them enough space between each other. Next, pop them in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, then let them roast for about 10 minutes. After roasting for 10 minutes, turn each piece over to let the other side cook, then put them back in the oven and let them roast for another 10 to 15 minutes. Broil them for an extra 3 minutes and make sure to keep an eye on them, you want them nice and crispy, not burnt.
