Dollar Tree DIY Floral Pillows Tutorial

I was in the Dollar Tree last week and found these super cute floral placemats. I immediately remembered this floral pillows tutorial from Ashleigh Lauren SHORTS on Youtube and thought of giving it a try. They turned out so well and were a good addition to my couch! Learn how to make them by watching the video tutorial below.

Materials:

  • four Dollar Tree placemats
  • trim of choice
  • poly-fil or pillow foam
  • box cutter
  • scissors
  • glue gun
  • sewing kit

Directions:

Step 1

Take apart the stitching on the side of the placemat using a box cutter. After this, stuff your placemat with poly-fil or pillow foam. Once you have enough stuff, put your hands inside and move your stuffing around, making it nice and fluffy. Now, close up the hole you made using your basic sewing kit.

Step 2

Lastly, glue your trim around the edges of the pillows using hot glue. Make several of these pillows as you need, and you’re done.
