Newspaper crafts are one of much great best use out of waste crafts to do. I usually have a lot of newspapers lying around, and there are so many crafts to make with them. Punekar Sneha’s DIY wall mounted candle holder tutorial on YouTube is made out of ice cream sticks, newspaper, cardboard a lot of other useful supplies that are recyclable. I never thought about making a wall mounted candle holder with newspaper because I didn’t think it would be sturdy enough, but this tutorial proved me wrong. I love all of the details she made out such as the chains from the birdcages and birds itself. This is a creative newspaper craft that is thought outside of the box. I’m impressed how crafty and easy this is to make at home.

Supplies:

  • Icecream Sticks
  • Ball Chain
  • Tealight Candle
  • Fevibond glue
  • Color Paper
  • Fevicol
  • Woolen
  • Acrylic Colour
  • Foam sheet
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue gun

Directions:

First, cut out slips of newspaper to roll together to make sticks for the design of the wall-mounted candle holder. Then, glue a straight line on one side and roll. Make a bunch of these so they are easier to have ready when gluing all of the pieces for the project.

I think this candle holder is unique and made out of items that are repurposed. It’s cool to see everything was handmade from shapes and figures. This type of newspaper wall hanging candle holder is for the tealight candles because it’s fragile. Plus, if you don’t want to put tealight candles, you can just create this for wall decor.
