Well, Saint Valentine’s Day s here again and here come the pretty pink and red projects like clockwork. I must admit Cupid and all his heart-shaped regalia not only makes the spirit wistfully romantic but also for me, brings up nostalgic memories of trading Valentines in school and making paper projects. I recently needed to make some Valentine’s Day decorations for my office and was given a very limited budget. I was skeptical of how I was going to make any kind of project for the amount of money I was given, but like a bolt from the blue, I remembered how fabulous my school paper Valentine projects looked and I found this awesome Tissue Paper Heart on Youtube and knew it was going to be perfect. I couldn’t wait to make it and I was only going to need a few materials.
Materials:
- 1 Pack Of Tissue Paper
- 1 Pair Of Scissors
- Glue
- Cardboard
- String
You first cut your paper into 3 x 3-inch squares
Then you cut out a large heart out of your cardboard or cardstock paper and apply some glue using a brush
Then you take your 3 x 3 tissue paper squares an attach them to your heart until completely covered (you can use the eraser part of a pencil to sick them down)
Then you just put a string through and hang them on a door or wall. These DIY Tissue Paper Hearts look so fantastic I know you will love them as much as I do. This is a cheap easy wonderful project, I highly recommend it.
