Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so each year I make a new wreath decoration for my front door to set the tone for the up and coming New Year. The holiday cascade of new dreams and new ideas all start with Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my big kick-off, so to really get my kick-off going I scour the internet for a new wreath idea. This year I have been thankful for so many blessings, it was only fitting that I put a wreath up that actually said “Thankful”, so when I found this Youtube tutorial it was a match made in Heaven, just meant to be. I went to Michael’s Craft Store and found all the materials I needed. I got an 18″ Grapevine Wreath, orange holiday Autumn flowers, red cranberries on the vine, faux Autumn leaves, and white flowers. I started by cutting all my floral stems to fasten onto the DIY Autumn Thanksgiving Wreath, while leaving as much stem on as possible, so you can use the leftovers in a different project later. Then you just start tucking your leaves into the Grapevine Wreath going in on direction.

Using the same tucking method, I put in the flowers and cranberries. I used a hot glue gun to attach the miniature pine cones.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
