You never know what people are going to come up with, but I really love this and so will you!  This is so clever and I’m just going to get my sewing machine out and make one right away!  It looks so uncomplicated and I’m all about easy projects with quick results!  You’d never guess by looking at this that it is as effortless as it is!

In the tutorial she used neoprene which is a simple fabric to work with, you don’t need to sew any hems, and it was stretchy enough to not have to put in a zipper. You can definitely use any fabric for this project.

Materials:

  • scuba/neoprene fabric around 0.5cm thick (1/4 of an inch)
  • craft paper
  • a pencil
  • super sharp scissors
  • pins
  • a sewing machine
  • matching needle and thread

This skirt is really flattering on.  It’s very sophisticated and slenderizing.  You can make it sassy by making it a mini, if you’re young and have the legs for it.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
