Use these DIY reusable gift bags to wrap them instead of plastic or paper bags. You can make them in different sizes and colors depending on your preference. They are easy and fast to make, done in just 5 minutes. If you don’t know how to sew, do not worry. Use hot glue instead. Watch the video below by Nutty Crafter for the full tutorial.
Decide how big you want your bag to be. Double that size and add allowance on each side to make a long rectangle.
Fold 3/4″ of the short ends, pin them in place, and sew.
Fold it in half, right sides together, lining up the edges. Sew down on the sides. See the photo below for reference.
Flip it right side out and iron to flatten.
Cut two pieces of string. They must be 2.5 longer than the width of your bag. Thread the safety pin into one of the strings, then close it. Insert the safety pin into the top of the bag from the front and all the way to the back. Tie the ends together into a knot. Repeat the same process with the other string, but insert it from the other side. Tie the ends together into a knot.
