Does your house or room smell like urine or skunk, or has a weird odor that never goes away? If so, you have to keep reading as I have the perfect DIY solution for your problem. My friend recently moved to a new house, and it smelled horrible. We couldn’t even describe how bad the odor was. There is nothing in the house that can cause the smell. We later figured out that the previous owner had a cat. The urine of her pets probably dried on the floor tiles, and the odor lingered on the walls. So, I searched on YouTube for a homemade solution spray that we can use around the house.   • 1 quart of hydrogen peroxide (3%)
  • 1/2 cup of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of dish soap
  • 1/2 cup bleach
  • gallon of water

How to Make Homemade Deodorizer

Step 1:

Start by pouring 1 quart of hydrogen peroxide into your bucket.

Step 2:

Add a 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of dish soap. Mix it really well until dissolved.

Step 3:

Transfer to a spray bottle, but make sure to loosen the spray cap after shaking as it will produce pressure.

Step 4:

Use it on your floor or walls to get rid of the urine smell. Then use a rag and brush to scrub it well. Take note that this may stain some dark color fabric or carpet. Always test it out in hidden areas first, then let it dry. Check for color change, if there is none, continue using. The baking soda may also leave residue, just wipe with a clean towel or brush.

Step 5:

This step is only for tiled floors and walls. After the neutralizer dried, combine 1/2 cup of bleach with a gallon of water in a bucket. Rub the walls and floors with the solution. Never use this to clean carpet or fabric.
