My friend built an entire backyard office out of pallets, so when I saw this DIY Modern Concrete and Wood Outdoor Bench on Youtube I had to tell him right away! He said get over here and we will make this because he was really wanting to add some seating in his garden this year, but he wanted to do something quickly because his nieces and nephews were coming over and he wanted to teach them about gardening. So he had plenty of wood, I was in charge of the refreshments and craft stain we needed for the project. When I got over to my friend’s house he had all the tools laid out. A power Drill, a Circular Saw, Wood Drill Bits, Measuring Tape, a Speed Square, a pencil, Sandpaper, and Safety Glasses. The best part about using old wood is the fact that it is usually free, you can find it by asking your local hardware store if they have spares laying around they are usually happy to accommodate.

  • A Drill
  • A Speed Square
  • A Pen

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
