If you’ve been wanting to buy those faux Fall trees from Amazon or Walmart but are having second thoughts as they’re too expensive, then you’ll love this DIY version from Ria’s World of Ideas on YouTube. Can you believe all the materials are from Dollar Tree and would only cost you less than $15 versus those on the internet that cost a whopping $69? Well – you have to try doing this DIY because I, on the other hand, will surely make a couple of these. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions.
Take off the handle part of the broomstick and set it aside. Next, grab the wood plaque and find the center point using a pencil and ruler. Once you have the center point, create a square in the middle using Jenga blocks, then trace it with a pencil. After this, add a generous amount of adhesive glue and hot glue to the square, then place the pole at the center, followed by the Jenga blocks around it. Fill the spaces around the pole with more hot glue, then hold the pole the whole time until the hot glue completely dries.

Now, start attaching a bunch of faux maple leaves to the pole using electric tape. Make sure to spread out the leaves as you go and just keep going until it is the fullness you desire. After this, add the LED lights around the leaves and you’re done. Your DIY Fall tree is now finished! (You can also make this smaller by cutting down the pole.)
