This DIY Christmas lantern planter by Christopher Hiedeman on YouTube is an inexpensive outdoor decor that can be placed next to the doorway or patio. Also, this planter can be easily stored away, and used for many years. Plus, you can make miniature ones as centerpieces for indoor decoration. Christmas decoration is one of my favorites to make or buy. However, it can get pricey, so this project fits for those that are on a budget. You can find a lot of these items at your local Dollar Tree too. Plus, it’s quick and easy to make without using major tools or supplies. I think lanterns add a natural luxurious outdoor feel to the house and warm up the look at night.
First, add the pine garland to the planter, and cut out pieces to fit. Mold the garland, and spread out any of the pines to create a full look. Add more to fill in the center, and wrap the string lights onto the garland.
